What BringThis is

BringThis is a coordination tool: it records who has promised to bring what to a gathering. A promise on a board is a statement of intent between the people at that gathering. BringThis does not verify identities, attendance, delivery or food safety, and it does not guarantee that a message or reminder arrives.

Using it

• You must be at least 13 years old to use BringThis.
• You must be able to sign in with an Apple or Google account to share or join an event.
• You are responsible for what you post: event details, item names and display names. Do not post other people's personal details, anything unlawful, spam, harassment, hate or threats, or content that sexualises minors.
• Hosts control their events: who joins, what members may do, whether names are visible, and whether the event is closed, canceled or deleted. A host may remove or block a member at any time.
• Anyone who has an invite link can see the event's title (or a generic label if the host chose that), the host's name and the join rules, and can join after signing in if the host allows it; otherwise the host approves each request. Share a link only with people you want at the event.

Your content

What you post stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people on that event, which is all we do with it. Hosts may edit or remove items on their own events.

Service

BringThis is free and provided as is. It is new and small: we may add, change or stop features, and we will give notice where we can. We may remove content, remove you from an event or close your account if you break these terms or the law, and we act on reports (see the Report link on invites and boards). BringThis Pro

Everything a guest does is free, and every host can create, share and run events for free. BringThis Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription for hosts who run events often. It adds saved custom templates, scheduled reminder emails before an event, a CSV export of the board, and higher limits (more open events at once and more items per event). The exact plans, their length (monthly or yearly) and the full price for your country are shown in the app and in the store before you buy; the yearly plan shows its yearly total.

• Payment is taken by the App Store or Google Play through the account you use there, not by us. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are handled by the store under its rules. Restore purchases in the app after a reinstall or a new phone.
• When Pro ends, nothing is deleted: your events, items, promises and saved templates stay, events that are already open keep working, and you can still close, edit and manage them. You can no longer add scheduled reminders, save or edit custom templates, export CSV, or open more events than the free plan allows until you subscribe again.
• Personal-data export and account deletion are free and never need Pro. Deleting your BringThis account does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it in the store as well.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for anything that happens at an event, for lost data, or for the service being unavailable; where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to INR 1,000.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India and any dispute goes to the courts in India, without affecting rights you have as a consumer where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continued use after that means you accept the new terms.
